Lean Engineer intern Summer 2018

Improved the efficiency of the meetings (OSHA) by utilizing DMAIC Six Sigma tools and Toyota Way principles.

Recognized the Key information through Value Stream Mapping and analyzed using statistical tool like ANOVA, which profited the company by reducing the meetings cycle time from 50 to 35 minutes.

Process Improvement Engineer May 2016 - December 2016

Caterpillar inc, India

Reduced the warehouse cost by 13% by implementing the FIFO inventory method and used Just-In Time (JIT) method for assembling the vehicle parts, which also led to enhanced quality.

Evaluated safety stock/reorder point levels quarterly resulted in a decrease of finished parts stocking by 11%, which resulted in savings of $1.3 million while keeping up quality service to customers.

We used material handling system called kitting process and through which we reduced processing time by 47mins.

Global Production Network Optimization – Engineering the Supply Chain.

Designed the production network at Cool Wipes using Linear Programming Model. Also optimized the annual transportation cost of both wipes and ointments supply globally by $276,872.

Decision tree was designed for both the onshore and offshore supplier of Forever Young. Resulted in Increase in the Net Present Value of the company by $17,458 annually.

Database management – Industrial Information Systems.

Created and designed a part of database for the coco-cola with transaction, capacity planning, Query optimization techniques were used in SQL language.

Data mining tools were used in MySQL to retrieve proper information from the data.

Construction Project Management – Optimization in Operation Research.

Developed an CPM/PERT network and activity scheduling diagram for Moore Builders to show the optimized project completion time and path.
