Vedanta Bioscience Cambridge, MA Sr. Project Manager, SAP (April 2018 – Present)

Managed the implementation of SAP Business One (HANA) in the Cloud. Manage SAP Partner, Hosting Partner and Vedanta resources following SAP ASAP Methodology and Agile to ensure a timely implementation. Goal is to have purchasing, inventory control, production planning, forecasting and accounts payable in production by June 1, 2019. However, due to company growth, go live will be done in phases starting at the end of July.

APEX Systems, Inc. Burlington, MA Program Manager (November 2017 – February 2018)

Managed supply chain systems package implementation for a large grocery chain group. Developed project plans, performed resource planning, developed weekly status presentations, worked with the Vendor on interface requirements. Participated in the planning process for implementing the solution to all other brands owned by the grocery group. Utilized Agile in enhancing the solution once installed.

GCP Applied Technologies Cambridge, MA Sr. Project Manager (April 2017 – July 2017)

Managed the systems split in support of the divestiture of a $3.2 billion dollar division of GCP Applied Technologies to a German based company. Responsibilities include ensuring the initial split of SAP ECC 6.4 (Including BW & HCM, as well as several required custom apps) by providing secure independent access to both companies on all platforms through December 31, 2017.

Cole Haan, LLC Greenland, NH Sr. Project Manager, PMO (March 2014 – November 2016)

Hired to establish a PMO and retrofit existing SDLC into a more streamlined waterfall version and to establish a Scrum / Agile SDLC. Both methodologies required the modification and/or creation of templates that could be used to ensure consistency across all projects. Ran Bi-Weekly meetings to review all projects in the Portfolio and prepared material and presented to steering committees. Led teams of between 5 – 20+ FTE’s, including contract and vendor resources.

Oversight of all projects in the Enterprise Systems area re: planning, resource requirements, methodology adoption as well as negotiations with 3rd party vendors for goods and services including SAP.

Managed quarterly releases of SAP and other packaged solutions using the Agile methodology.

Managed integration of WEB enhancements (Amazon Pay) among others with back-end systems. Utilized Web Services for currency conversion, credit card payment, availability of inventory in other store locations.

Managed Windows 2003 replacement/upgrade program.

Managed the implementation of Aptos POS / MPOS 6.4 (117 Stores) including all relevant hosts (CRM, Sales Audit, Loss Prevention, and feeds to back-end systems.

Managed the upgrade of the Warehouse Conveyor solution from an old (non-version) to a more recent version of the software including all needed customizations as well as upgrading servers to Linux and W2012 in a VMWare with full DRP capabilities. Upgrade permitted the addition of 50 packing stations in support of Web orders.

Managed the upgrade of the Warehouse management solution (MARC) to a more recent version of the software including all needed customizations, server upgrades using VMWare, with full DRP capabilities. Improved interface processing to SAP for wave picking from 2+ hours to under 3 minutes. Updated API’s to improve performance with Conveyor solution.

Modis, Inc. Burlington, MA Sr. Project Manager (November 2013 – February 2014)Assigned to Hewlett Packard in Andover, MA to review several failed attempts to automate the feed of Fixed Assets (SAP) project.

Reviewed user requirements and plans to-date. Discovered that the solution was based on “mirroring” a manual approach to update the fixed assets that required a team in India to look at as many as 28 different systems depending on where the fixed assets would be utilized.

Proposed a solution that would take feeds from one source system (Global Procurement) with some modifications to auto update fixed asset shells in SAP/FA. Determined that the activation of all fixed assets could be activated by taking a feed from SAP/AP.

PetEdge, Inc. Beverly, MA ERP – CRM Systems Manager (July 2012 – August 2013)

Managed the implementation of SAP (ECC 6.0, CRM 7.2, WCEM 3.0) including Paymetric and Process Weaver 3rd party applications. This was a fast-paced implementation to replace all core IT systems in 2013.

Participated in vendor selection including two SAP Gold Partners. Incorporated several Web Services and API’s in the new solution to achieve faster integration of key business functions (credit checking, credit card processing and CRM updates from Web Channel) among others.

Responsible for $6M budget and management of all 3rd parties as well as PetEdge business & IT staff.

Ciber, Inc. Woburn, MA Principle Consultant (July 2009 – July 2012)

Managed quality and regulatory IT projects for Philips Healthcare aimed at improving overall compliance with regulatory authorities worldwide using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies based on the project needs.

Led analysis of all call management solutions worldwide to ensure Q&R needs were being addressed.

Managed requirements and development for an ETL solution to collect service calls from all worldwide solutions for review for potential complaints and/or Reportable events.

Managed requirements and development for next generation customer feedback solution with improved feeds based on API’s to the company’s complaint handling solution.

EMC Corporation Hopkinton, MA Sr. Practice Manager (May 2006 – July 2009)

Successfully managed the delivery of storage managed services and P&L for all key accounts in the Americas including several accounts with data centers located in foreign countries. Key accounts included: GE, Wellington Management, Starbucks, American Express, and the Mexican Government. Improved operational efficiency while increasing revenue and reducing costs. Ensured IT initiatives focused on key business goals by establishing a planning process to review the importance of projects; led to a 12% reduction of IT budget and a commitment to synchronizing IT plans and business goals on an annual basis.

Lowered ABAP consultant staffing from 22 to 4 for US deployed SAP system by reviewing custom features versus those provided in latest base package being configured and utilized reducing custom code by 90%.

Managed the rollout of SAP to EMEA.

Led the relocation of the IT application team, and Call Center personnel from California to New Hampshire with no negative impact on mission critical applications or company operations.

Responsible and accountable for managing remote teams in various international locations in support of global logistics operations.
