I have graduated with BA in Geography followed by M.A in Human Geography from Pune University. I have also completed MSc course in Geoinformatics from TERI School of Advanced Studies, Delhi. During my project work in TERI School of Advanced Studies, I also carried out independent study on “Using LULC Trajectories to Quantify the Relationship between Lulc and Land Surface Temperature of Bangalore City, India”. I joined Geoinformatics Center of Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) for 5 months internship program during my masters where I gained international level exposure in the field of GIS & Remote Sensing. During the internship period, I was privileged to work under a major project in Geoinformatics Center,Asian Institute of Technology where I demonstrated my ability by providing accurate results to our clients considering the map quality and standard by working on ‘Flood Risk Assessment of Hue city, Vietnam’. I have also carried out the following academic projects:

‘Changes in Land Use and Land Cover in Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, Assam’ and

‘A Study of Satellite Wetlands of Najafgarh Lake in the National Capital Region (NCR) for conservation of avifauna’. I have always been very keen and interested in working for bio diversity and wildlife conservation. During my project period at Pobitora Wildlife, I got to learn about the habitat about One-Horn Rhinos and about their danger of getting extinct due to different kinds of Human interference and thus Land use and Land cover study carried out by me helped to identify the effects of urbanization in the sanctuary as an eco-sensitive zone. I worked as an Environmental Officer in Gurugram, Haryana. I currently manage mining as well as cement sector in my current company. With that I have attended meetings in MoEFCC, New Delhi with EAC and also supervised the baseline monitoring in the core parts of India. I have handful of experience in client handling and organizing workshops and meetings. I possess a strong interpersonal skill, alongside with the excellent writing and verbal communication skills to help me doing my job.

I am also a GIS professional and hence can incorporate my GIS skills in any studies. I can assure that my work and dedication will never be disappointing.
