EMPLOYMENT Ovation Medical, Agoura Hills, CA November 2017 – September 2018
National Account Manager. Ovation Medical is an inbound/outbound very active sales call center. Duties included calling on Doctors offices and building relationships with Medical Assistants, Nurses, and Front Desk Personel, as well as Doctors themselves when possible. Once the relationship was built, I would send them samples of medical supplies (DME Products), once they received them, I would call the office and take them through the braces or other products. I would continue by selling them product and accepting calls from them, and calling them to create sales, faxing order forms, receiving fax order forms, and processing orders through phone calls both incoming and outgoing. The main computer program used was Salesforce.
EXPERIENCE: The Care Group, Van Nuys, CA. December 2016 – June 2017
The Care Group is an outbound call center where I made 600 – 800 calls per day. The position involved getting customers to feel comfortable enough with me to share personal information. I would ask them if they had any physical pain and explained that The Care Group could provide prescription compounding ointments and braces to treat them. I earned their trust in order for them to willingly provide the name of their physician, health insurance company, and the name of their pharmacy.
I enter the information into the computer while conversing with the person, and would then then transfer them to a registered nurse to document the issue. Another team would then contact the doctor, insurance company and the pharmacy to get the prescribed ointments and braces approved.
The Thomas Group, Thousand Oaks, CA. March 2001 – June 2007
Was hired to work as part of a four man team to build-out new showrooms for Emser Tile International. Involved travel to cities all around the United States to construct showroom interiors with display shelving and point of purchase displays in approximately 55 locations. Included carpentry, fabrication, painting, and related responsibilities. Enjoyed the travel and being an integral part of a team of workers.
Countrywide Home Loans, Simi Valley, CA. July 2000 - January 2001
Joined as collections/customer service agent. Facilitated delinquent customers in working out payment plans. Promoted to 90 day delinquent accounts often resulting in foreclosures due to success in working with clients. Found that my empathetic nature did not mesh with the heartache caused by the threat of foreclosure and the anguishing stories that I dealt with daily from people who could not pay.
