iDocs is the product of Electronic Document Delivery (EDD), it acts as front end for the EDD system. It is both a stand-alone system and interface system depending on the line of business and policy requirement. Primary purpose of this system is policy issuance. Interactive Docs is a solution for providing users with a semi-view of documents, which allows them to fill in document field data prior to creating a final PDF file for distribution. Transactions are indexed and stored under a single policy (or quote) number. Any given policy number can have an unlimited number of associated transactions. The user, with policy data imported from spreadsheets, workbench or the Ultra policy system, can create transactions.
