Executive oversight of over 30 infrastructure, communications, and building construction projects totaling $320M in two Afghan states; built up self-supporting military and police facilities created to maintain a governmental presence and local stability. - Program Manager (civilian), Mobile Maintenance, Joint Manufacturing & Tech Center, 03/2008 to 04/2013

Provided executive oversight of manufacture, assembly, and delivery of over 1,000 major end items (annually) worth approximately $120M for three mobile repair and food service systems. Developed & managed production schedules with union workforce; oversaw cost, budget & procurement processes; coordinated with manufacturing; and managed quality control, raw material & part inventories, and logistics. Fostered superior customer service by conducting periodic updates & schedule reviews for end users and upper management; compiled weekly reports & progress reviews.

• Developed hybrid SAP procedures for all program-overhaul projects that needed to meet operational deadlines; managed any emergent repair contracts requiring fabrication of spare parts and as well as consumables.

• Contracting Officer Representative for three major programs and several smaller contracts; four of these contracts on one of these programs required $800K of monthly receipts.

• Completed several LEAN projects, saving the Forward Repair System (FRS) overhaul program $1M per year, the largest LEAN savings ever realized at this facility.

• Corrected Shop Equipment Contact Maintenance (SECM) program Bill-of-Material errors that saved ~$15M/yr.

Acted as central point-of-contact for artillery programs & spare part production, interfacing with end users and local & upper management. Using SAP, ordered raw materials, coordinated with manufacturing, scheduled logistics, and liaised with Engineering & Design when technical issues arose.
