-Contacted 10 high schools in underprivileged areas in southern California and coordinated with administration to set up outreach meetings with Filipinx students.

-Created and hosted presentations that showcased the cultural impact of F.I.E.R.C.E. using Microsoft Powerpoint to generate interest and recruit students.

Research Assistant UCSB Cognition and Development Lab August 2017- June 2018
-Assisted a PhD student in studying the development of Theory of Mind and its relation to other cognitive functions in children and advised modifications to the design.
-Followed a strict script with children to maintain the integrity of the experiment.
-Recruited children (ages 3-5) at the MOXI children’s museum by explaining the objectives of the study to their guardians.
-Used Microsoft Excel to organize data and track participants.
-Knowledgeable of APA and IRB approval laws.
