Project Specialist Houston, TX

Core Labs- IRS (Integrated Reservoirs Solutions) December 2017- Present

Receive all rock samples for consortia and proprietary analysis.

Verify pricing and laboratory protocols for each sample.

Once sample analysis is confirmed, prepare samples for shipment to various laboratories in the Houston area as well as outside the US.

Perform final QC on paperwork for billing and send final email distribution to laboratories

Receive measured data from the lab and check for any errors before loading into proprietary database. Data varies from over 15 different types of core analysis and images. This includes TOC/RE, XRD, XRF, MICP, RM/PE, VR, SEM, GRI, BD, Core and plug photos, CST, RO, Fracture Conductivity, UPVC, and High Resolution Thin Sections

●Sample prep responsibilities include: disaggregation of rock samples, sieving, milling, pelleting, solvent(toluene) washing, lith washing, centrifuging, and drying samples in oven at various temperatures.
