Delivered American and expatriate Human Resources support. Scope of accountabilities included recruitment, onboarding & retention, compensation & benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, legal and regulatory compliance, and staff development for approximately 155 American Councils D.C. staffers and ~30 expatriate employees located across the globe. Supervised and mentored Recruiter, HR Generalist and 3 person Office Admin staff. Represented AC in local, national and international benefits & compensation surveys and provided HR data and metrics for federal contracts. Made recommendations to executive management that met ACs’ strategic and financial objectives.

Managed American Councils’ employee retirement plan and spearheaded the identification and selection of both a more robust 403(b) plan management firm and investment services provider. Oversaw all employee-client interests including yearly investment performance reviews presentations, staff transactions and summary reports.

With brokers, made employee financial education presentations. Initiated 1-on-1 meetings between staff and financial advisors, resulting in stronger employee investment decisions. During my tenure, staff personal investment portfolios increased an average 7 - 10%.

Directed AC’s implementation of ADP’s new Human Resources tool and employee portal, “Workforce Now,” a Web-based management and employee staff resource for all AC U.S. and expatriate staff members.

Worked in partnership with insurance brokers and AC executive management to review, negotiate and select U.S. employee benefits offerings, including three separate health insurance plans, dental, vision, life and long-term disability coverages, as well as distinct overseas health and evacuation insurance plans for expatriate staff.

Initiated and directed a Hay Group analysis that created more appropriate internal and external compensation; lowered CRDF salary budget by approximately 7%.

Researched and introduced a quantitative/qualitative web-based performance management tool, Success Factors, to CRDF. Reduced total review period by more than one month.
