The integration happens in two modes synchronous (point to point) and asynchronous (with help of AMQP). There is HEDM model as a standard to support the schemas.

Description: A transcript (esp. in United States education) is a copy of a student's permanent academic record, which usually means all courses taken, all grades received, all honors received and degrees conferred to a student.
Banner Student 8 provides transcript feature to generate paper, EDI or xml transcript. The eTranscript will provide the transcript to student in more automated way by requesting it online and getting delivered to his/her convenient way. There is standard for transcript xml schema and that is set by pesc.org.
