Duties & Responsibilities:
Planning, Budget achievement, Profitability, Overall Performance, Quality control Conduct of the staffs, Business Support & Development, Targets & Revenue
Inspect, validate and count goods at every point of delivery, acceptance, breakdown and build-up ensuring that goods conform to relevant criteria and that they are dispatched/ stored in accordance with principal’s requirements, Interline agreement.
Assist in resolving claims and discrepancies liaising with concerned authorities to satisfy customer satisfaction and meet quality of Co.
Perform delegated tasks, administrative, operational and promotional which enhance profitability for the Company
Liaising with Ground Handling Agent for flights operational requirements and co-ordination of activities for trans shipment
Coordinating with team of porters and staffs & cashiers and Financial Team for Billing and matters, movement of cargo staff and other for movement of loads to and from the yard and airport
Liaise with Government Authorities such as Customs, Health officers or Police as required to ensure the effective movement of all cargo, courier and mails.
Ensure at all times that the handling of shipments of Dangerous Goods fully comply with the current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations; packed & loaded in accordance with the same.
Warehouse Operations:
General clerical, securing all forms e.g. cargo manifest and cargo documents.
Palletizing export cargo/depalletizing of import cargo, verifying export documents.
Weighing of cargo, coordinate collection of unused ULD for proper storage, ULD inventory….
Spot checking of unloaded/loaded cargo from/into ULD, Sorting cargo and checking of manifest/built sheet, coordinate the Supplying pallets. Warehouse tidiness supervising………
Specific kills:
Strong quantitative and qualitative skills and advanced problem solving capabilities.
Airline marketing/pricing activities
Computer literate, good negotiation and decision making skills.
Solid understanding of cargo operational and commercial processes from international network carriers.
Ensure the validation of the Market Rates proposed by Sales for each Region
Ensure that Minimum Selling Rates (for Price Agreements) are in place for all relevant O&Ds (origins-destinations)
Ensure the pricing guidelines are based on market trends, historical information and industry benchmark (IATA, CASS and World ACD reports)
