I was part of the management team that opened this Physician Owned Hospital (hospital had been closed for 7 years). Leveraged professional and personal relationships with physicians and facilities to create an “admissions and continuity of care process” that admitted the first patient and then grew the census. Responsible for physician recruitment, growing the surgery team and a group of specialist. CRM documentation to track referral submissions, marketing hospital services utilization, and providing insight and feedback for optimal physician retention and patient satisfaction. Implemented processes for physicians credentialing, computer training and technical support. Daily physician marketing, weekly physician events/promotions along with developing marketing plans for each physician, and coordinated a physician referral network. Established a Physician Specially clinic onsite to promote physicians and broaden the hospital services. II was instrumental in promoting a community atmosphere that helped to change the perception of the hospital, by establishing a Community Garden and a “Monthly Networking Luncheon” for healthcare professionals. Monthly meetings with the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, Great Southwest, Community and Church Leaders, led to the Crescent Medical Center winning the 2014 Lancaster Chamber of Commerce “Blue Print” Award and The Focus Daily News naming Crescent “Best New Employer of 2014”.
