Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviewing documents such as material submittal, drawings, construction methodology and ITP at site upon pursuance of work. Checking the status/comments and coordinated to the concerned parties to avoid non conformity works.
Checking all materials used and work performed as per specifications for QCS, or as per Approved Method of Statement and Material Submittal.
Preparing Method Statements and Operation and Maintenance Manual
Preparing material submittals and assist procurement to outsource for approve suppliers to ensure compliance with the required specification.
Day to day management of the site, doing advance inspection of ongoing works at site such as steel erection and infrastructure works as per the request of main/ subcontractor. Ensuring the quality and that works has been done as per the approved drawings or technical specifications.
Monitor subcontractors activities and performance against ITP’s
Monitor and coordinate the inspection of incoming materials.
Conduct visual inspections and progressively monitor installation of the works
Coordinate Consultants onsite and offsite inspections as required
Attending internal weekly meeting to my manager and colleagues to convey the progress of the site, discuss some concerns or issues or updating newly approved material to be used.
Issuing Site note or NCR’s required in cases of Non Confirmative works. Making it sure that proper rectification has been done.
Planning/discussing to our sub-contractor the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facility in order to meet deadline.
Overseeing quality control/ workmanship on site;
Making it sure the availability and validness of each drawing/document for possible auditing that may come.
Conduct final inspections and snagging prior to handing over.
