● Design Software: Autodesk inventor, CATIA V5R19

● Analysing Software: OpenFOAM, ANSYS (FLUENT)

● Computer Knowledge: C, HTML, JAVA

PROJECTS:

1. Flow Analysis on 2-Dimensional Sports Car Model using OpenFOAM Aerodynamics plays an important role in designing any automotive. Because of aerodynamic properties, the entire performance will be altered. In this project, a car Model is took into concern and it is external design is modeled using CATIA V5R19 modeling software. The modeled car is considered as a 2D model for future analysis using OpenFOAM to determine the aerodynamic characteristics like Pressure, Velocity, Downforce and Drag on the Computational approach. The experimental procedure will be done with the help of the Wind Tunnel and the Results are Compared.

2. Non-Invasive Brick Strengthening using Shock Wave It has been examined that shock tube, which is commonly used in aerodynamic studies over an object to determine the changes in the properties and molecular arrangement of the material. A innovative idea has been made in brick era to change the property of the brick using the shock tube. The strength of the shock is determined by its mach number. The specimen is examined by using ‘Compressibility Testing’ machine after applying the shock waves the strength is determined. The results from the compression testing machine shows that the crack initiation period can be extended in the specimen and results in reliability 3. Fusion Bonded Epoxy Resin Coating to Resist Corrosion in Submerged Pumps Corrosion is the deterioration of material, which results from a reaction with its Environment. Especially submerged pump experiences surface corrosion more than any other pumps. New attempt is made here, by coating the surface of the pump using Fusion Bonded Epoxy Resin (FBE). FBE coatings with different properties are available to suit coating application on the main body of pipe, internal surfaces, girth welds as well as on fittings. Epoxy coatings are popular because they provide a quick drying, tough and protective coating. This Epoxy coating is designed for high build thickness in one or two coat layers. The commonly used FBE resins are derivatives of bisphenol A, bisphenol F and epichlorohydrin are commonly used in the FBE formulations to achieve various properties, combinations or additions. 4. Drag Reduction in submerged vehicles using hydrophobic coating Most marine constructions are made of metal, and the common form of loss to those structures is corrosion. From the time when the metal is produced, it must be protected from the effects of the environment that surrounds it. In this study, an approach is introduced which uses hydrophobic surfaces for an underwater vehicle for an unseparated flow body profile. Fluid slippage on hydrophobic walls can lead to a considerable reduction of skin friction drag. The effectiveness of this approach for underwater hulls has been examined numerically. In this regard, the numerical procedure is validated by comparing the numerical results for the slip flow over a micron-sized spherical particle with the analytical results available in the literature. Results show that, the principal drag for such profiles is the skin friction drag which can be drastically reduced using hydrophobic surfaces. For sliding coefficients less than 10, the drag coefficient of the underwater vehicle with an unseparated flow profile can be even lower than that of a super-cavitating hull. This Super-hydrophobic coating can increase the speed and range of the torpedo and also reduce the fuel consumption and it is an anti-corrosive surface. 5. Non-Invasive cement Strengthening using Shock Wave It is believed that the Concrete structure is an important structure in the building application and this concrete structure comprises of portland cement, water and aggregates (rock and sand). It has been examined that shock tube, which is commonly used in aerodynamic studies over an object to determine the changes in the properties and molecular arrangement of the material. A innovative idea has been made in cement era to change the property of the cement using the shock tube. The Tracing paper is used as a diaphragm between the driver and driven section. Certain number of shocks are passed onto the cement block. The strength of the shock is determined by its mach number. The cement composition is taken out and poured in the mould of 5cm x 5cm x 5cm. The cement composition is allowed to cure in the mould and then taken out after certain curing hours. The specimen is examined by using ‘Compressibility Testing’ machine after applying the shock waves the strength is determined and comparison is done with the non-treated cement block and results are examined. 6. Study of Shock Wave and its Interaction on various Water Samples The dissemination of shock waves through any medium results in the change of the property on fluids, this is because of the characteristics of the shock wave. Our project deals with the study of shock wave interaction on fluids in which the experiments are carried in water samples such as tap water, Distilled water, NaCl mixed distilled water and Sea water from various locations and also by varying the number of shock waves and studying the physical properties such as pH, Electrical Conductivity and Total Dissolved Solids. On performing the above experiments there occurs a considerable change in the physical property of the water. Due to these changes, this water finds its application in various fields like agriculture, medicine and dying industry. CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EVENTS:
