Ensure collection of overdue debt

Follow the Credit Management monthly cycle - Call brokers/clients for due, overdue items. Ensure that no items get aged or maintain accounts with no overdue. Update all relevant spreadsheets with specific data. Establish and maintain ‘accounts ‘relationships with all brokers.

To ensure all process procedures are followed – Daily Calls(incoming &outgoing), Diary, Unallocated cash, Narratives, Follow up and Chases and meet their respective SLA’s

Raise queries with BD, underwriters or brokers, check for replies and clear them accordingly

Take responsibility for ensuring own training and technical knowledge is kept up to date. Assist training of less experienced staff.

Ensure stringent follow-up for collection of disputed items and timely escalation.

Manage collection email queue and respond to request within SLA.

Responsible for quality audits and to ensure that deliverables are in line with SOP.

Maintain customer focus through effective team management and support and liaise with underwriters and business developers to meet the full level of process expectations.

Ensure the collection of outstanding overdue invoices and transactions within agreed credit terms to minimize bad debts and reduce risk and maintain accurate customer data to minimize bad debts of the company in line with the European credit policy

Review account credit terms in line with European credit policy
