Ensure the job was carried out with permit to work system and HSE plan/policy.

Review and prepare the documentation like scope of work, material requirements, and any other special requirements.

Review and prepare the Welding Procedure Specification, Procedure Qualification

Record and Organizing Welder Qualification Test.

Preparation of project ITP in accordance with site project specification and seeking approval from client/consultant.

Review and verify quality control Procedures, Method of Statement, Inspection and Test

Plan as per client specification and ensure all are duly approved before the commencement of the job.

Review of incoming consumable certificates and material certificates.

Preparation and review of NDT procedure, test and activity accordance with the project requirement.

Renewal of welder /welding operator performance qualification and record maintenance as per code and procedure requirements.

Inspection of plates, pipes and structural steel materials and review of manufacturer

certificates.

Monitoring /witnessing all the welding, fabrication and erection activities as per client approved Inspection and Test Plan, quality Control Procedures.

Witnessing the stage wise inspection before, during and after the fabrication

Preparation of daily welding reports, NDT request and welding master control sheet.

Witnessing of fit up welding and weld repair activities as per client approved WPS.

Inspection of pipes, plates, flanges, fitting, lifting, appliances, valves, gauges, tube and various other related items.

Review of radiographic film, witnessing UT, MPI, DPI, PWHT Chart and Hardness review of test reports etc.

Review the NDT reports and identify the defects on the weld surface.

Witnessing of weld repair activities as per client approved WPS.

Issue of Non-conformance reports and verification of corrective and preventive action.

Coordinate with client/TPI representatives and welding supervisors/foreman on daily basis to resolve any quality problems.

Inspection of Blasting, Painting, Coating, Glass flake lining and Holiday test.

Technical discussion and correspondence with client and third-party inspectors.

Preparation and hand over the final quality control document to client approval.
