TransUnion Interactive has a suite of applications and services serving the end customer with Credit Products such as credit reports, credit scores, comprehensive credit monitoring and other credit-related benefits and services. Maintenance team is supporting its sponsors to maintain the stable application in production by taking care of bugs and technical enhancement requests through regular and emergency releases.

Involved in the preparation of test cases, test Scenarios, test Conditions, communicating with software developers on quality issues following it with bug reports, developing, running and maintaining test Scripts.

Project Description:

GE Capital Retail Bank (a unit of General Electric Co) is a leading provider of credit services and products, with one of the world s largest portfolios of consumer credit accounts.

CSS is a portfolio management application, rich in many features like Yield management, Marketing campaign, Cardholder communication and Merchant management. The objective of this project is to maintain the parameter settings and controls for cardholder billing, interest rates, promotions, marketing messages, embossing package etc. It offers clients a full range of operational, financial and analytic support, and develops customized marketing programs and promotions designed to increase sales and customer loyalty.

Testing the functionalities such as Promotions, Dynamic Pricing, Change in Terms (CIT), Decision Management Menu, and Product Control File (PCF), Parameter control setup (PCS) and other functionalities for which a change in the Setup is done. These functionalities are directly related to the Offers and the Annual Pricing Rates (APR), which is charged to the customers.

Responsibilities:

Review of functional specifications, review test specifications, test cases and performed manual testing.

Developed Functional Test cases and procedures based on requirement specification and business logic.

Defects were tracked, reviewed, analyzed and compared using defect tracker until the defect closing.

Performed Black Box Testing from end users perspective without knowing the code

Performed regression testing to verify whether modification made in the parameters has not caused unintended adverse side effects.

Project Description:

Mahindra Comviva does compensation reviews for its employees twice a year. The review process makes use of various data points from these tools to manually calculate the compensation changes. Employee data is maintained in Oracle ERP R12 and the appraisal ratings data is stored in PMS (built in Python). High-level modules implemented are Login based on roles, Associate data / Compensation review forms, Approval workflow, Dashboard (reports), Admin screens (Master data setup), Daily synch up of associate data.

Responsibilities:

Review of business requirements for their testability

Creation of Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Traceability Matrix and Test Summary Report(s)

Test Execution, Defect logging and tracking till closure.

Tested applications compatibility on different platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac OS), browser versions (IE,Firefox, Safari and Chrome)

Executed Regression test cases for the Application under Test (AUT).
