Additional Experience

Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan, Manager, 1990-1994. Recruited, hired and trained to Patient escort staff that transported patients with in the hospital to their scheduled appointments. Conducted meetings to initiate and establish the first process improvement plan that saved over 23% in time spent transporting patient. Met with people at all levels of the company to insure great service. Created employee training programs and handbook. Taught people at all levels of the organization on how to implement process improvement teams that lead to cost savings at all levels.

Admitting Officer, 1987-1990. Insured all information was gathered when patients were admitted to the hospital to obtain proper billing. Kept up to date on insurance regulations to insure payment for services. Insured valuables were locked up in the safe when trusted family was not present to take things home. Provided pre screening for physicians conducting same day surgical procedures.
