Over the past twenty-three years, I have gained extensive experience from small business start-up and management, to branch management on a national level.

I am a deadline-driven, detail-orientated, problem-solving individual with the managerial drive and passion, coupled with over two decades of management experience in various industries; thirteen years specifically in factory and production management, being hands-on and active in the warehouse, as well as in logistics and admin. Adding to this - my years of theological studies where business management, leadership, information analysis as well as problem-solving, to name a few, also form part of my personal skill-set. Among my skills and abilities, I count professional leadership, adept in material and production management, cost reduction, excellent in client and staff liaising, logistics, inventory management, planning and execution, with my eye on quality, deadlines and targets, as some of my strongest characteristics.

I have been focusing on warehouse-, production- and logistics management with the goal of reaching an operations management level, but am more than willing to apply my skills and experience on new ventures. Extensive work experience developed my ability to balance high productivity with high quality as well as effectively manage the personnel on my team. I am proficient in all aspects of factory operations, budgeting, organization, and management, having to manage the factory, production, admin and logistics at the same time. I am adept at motivating a team to meet goals and achieve exemplary productivity while maintaining high standards of quality.

I thrive under pressure and enjoy new challenges. I have discovered my ability to work well with others, but I am also able to lead and motivate team members, currently a team of twenty staff members, not only delegating, but getting my hands dirty on the job as well, leading by example, as I have been doing since entering this field of work.

Even though I have never had an opportunity to gain certain qualifications through degrees or diplomas, I have through grace, been able to prove my worth for more than a decade, and have been given the opportunity to lead a factory here in PE, as well as a team of forty members in a Cape Town branch on occasion and am very much looking forward to an opportunity of applying my skills, knowledge and extensive years of experience within your company as well.
