Employment at a high street company, a bridge brand and a couture house creates a comprehensive range of knowledge of product. -Image sourcing and mood board creation

- Presenting collections to all areas of the business
-Liaising with factories to ensure garments are made in time to the correct standard through analysis of critical paths and attending approvals.
-Working on the entirety of the product lifecycle from mood board through to batch delivery and achieving this by following the critical path.
- Measuring garments to ensure that they are within tolerance whilst checking samples from all sample stages in order to identify issues.
- Quality controlling all deliveries to identify issues with the product to inform the production team.
- Working on photo-shoots to ensure the correct products are shot to the correct standard.

- Supporting the Product Developers and PD lead in delivering prototypes and samples on time to the required quality standard, and within target cost price range, to achieve target margin.
Maintaining effective working relationships with vendors, developing a strong working knowledge of vendor capability, inventory and availability to meet demands.
Providing information to the rest of the business via inputting into PLM and resolving problems that arise during and after the development of the collection

-Attend fit sessions tracking the development of the product.
-Running the wearer trial process of womenswear garments for the brand in order to identify issues with the product before production.
-Running barcode files so that product can be tracked by the business
-Preparing fabrics and trims for approval.
-Creating Bills of Materials in order for factories to know the components of the garments and where to source them.
-Liaising with factories to ensure garments are made in time to the correct standard through analysis of critical paths and attending approvals.
-Working with PLM and Microsoft AX Software
- I left due to it being a temporary contract during a systems change and work dried up after the systems change had been completed.

Design: Ability in fashion design, drawing, painting and photography develop a strong grasp of colour and silhouette paired with an understanding of target markets shapes innovation in my work.
