Program Development:
Communicate and manage team environment in developing programs - working with staff, community,
volunteers, Board and Program Services Committee at non-profit organizations

Program Management:
Write grants and proposals to local and national organizations to fund coalition initiatives
Manage grant budget and reporting responsibilities for federal coalition grant
Determine and implement Community Coalition philosophies, goals and policies aligning with twelve sector representatives and requirements from three grants
Compile and evaluate participant interviews and surveys for all programs over past 12 years, assessing and
evaluating over 50 programs
Write and balance budgets on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis for all programs at last four positions –
successfully managing programs to increase revenues and decrease expenses
Manage scholarship funds for educational and hemophilia camp programs, awarding over 40 total scholarships per year
Organize yearly hemophilia educational weekend increasing family attendance by 10-20% from each previous year
Coordinate and promote engineering competition, increasing the teams and sites participating
Evaluate and advise prospective students for certified nursing assistant classes at healthcare company
Interview, evaluate, hire and train staff of education presenters and volunteers for various program
Organize Milwaukee Public School 6th grade summer school program for over 250 students at museum
Schedule and staff overnight scout groups of over 200 people per month for museum
Marketing and Public Relations:
Strengthen collaboration between West Allis West-Milwaukee community, education and government
organizations, to support the efforts of the coalition
Recruit and promote coalition to community members and businesses, maintaining positive relationships
Staff informational booth at health fairs and medical conventions in Wisconsin, increasing public
and medical awareness of bleeding disorders
Publicize and promote programs on alcohol and drug prevention, fluid power careers and hemophilia awareness
within the community
Cultivate contacts at Milwaukee Area Girl Scouts and Boy Scout Councils to promote badge programs
Promote engineering competition to collect sponsorships to cover the full cost of each program
Promote and conduct museum outreach programs
Staff booth at teacher’s conventions and museum conferences
Conduct visitor interviews and surveys at museum to assess programs educational content
Teaching:
Present sessions at national conferences on successful grant funded programs, community collaborations,
women’s programs, production of videos and sibling issues
Teach hands-on and interactive summer camp classes for 6-10 year olds on archaeology at UWM
Conduct adult education classes for life-style skills

Teach MPS museum summer school program for five years on 6th grade math and language
