18.A part of World AIDS day 2017, where candle light memorial was organized with MBBS interns and nursing students to raise social awareness regarding HIV/AIDS on 1st December 2017 in field practice area of UHTC.

19.A part of World AIDS day 2017-health promotion activity which was organized for SSLC students, where health education regarding epidemiology, modes of transmission, clinical features, diagnosis & prevention of HIV/AIDS was given by faculty, PGs & interns on 5th December 2017.

20.As part of National Immunization Day 2018, Pulse Polio Immunization Booth was set up and bOPV vaccination was given to children less than 5yr old at UHTC.

21.As part of Anti-Leprosy Day 2018, a health education programme was organized at a school in field practice area of UHTC for SSLC students. Health education was given through skit enacted by interns, posters and charts made by students. Talk on epidemiology, clinical features, myths, misconceptions related to the leprosy and management of leprosy including facilities available for patients was given.
