•Controlling points of entry to the ship and the screening process of guests, crew and their luggage.
•Monitoring security onboard the ship 24X7 day and night shifts
•Reports to the Security Officer the log of activities during the day & night time hours
•Performing regular safety rounds of public, crew and off-limit areas of the ship
•Conducts frequent security inspections of the crew quarters during the duty hours
•Trained in fire prevention and basic fire-fighting techniques
•Reporting any abuse of ship's property or regulations to the Security Officer
