38 years’ experience in the insurance industry
Worked intensively with charitable and nonprofit organizations since 2000.
1980 – 1985 Multi line Adjuster for Crawford And Company.
1985 – 1995 Supervisor and Manager for Gay & Taylor. Supervised 10 people
in claims, and managed an office of 15. Was top producer for the last 8 years
I was with Gay &Taylor. My staff that I supervised was top in Production
and Audits. I managed property, casualty, workmans compensation &
carried a full caseload for certain clients.
1994 -1995 Managed a small branch in Sumter, SC for Gay and Taylor.
1995-2000 Partner in ownership of Capital Claims Services, Inc. as a result of
involvement in the sales claims industry. For the business I generated our
office consisted of three adjusters and a secretary. Some of our larger clients
were USAA, Canal, Companion P&C, Seibels Bruce, Ohio Casualty, and
General Accident group. During this time I contracted with Adams &
Associates, and began to handle claims on the International side & Non-Profit
Organizations. I continued to handle the Canal book of business until our
merge with Arthur J. Gallagher.
2000 – Present- Employed with Adams & Associates International as Claims
Director. Actively involved in marketing with the clients, Evacuation,
Property and Medical International and USA claims. Dissolved Capital
Claims Services, Inc.
Present – Claims Manager for the Claims Department for Missionary Travel
with Gallagher Charitable International Services. On the P&C side, Claims
liason for our clients for two producers with our office. This involves assisting
in report of claim, adjuster contact, and status reports to keep our clients
informed on their claims history and risk management. Involved in
encouraging adjusters to close claims or minimize settlements.
