Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Jul. 2016 – Jul. 2016 Density Based Traffic Light System using 8051 microcontroller: The project replaces the traditional timer based traffic light system with the advanced and optimized density based traffic system, which controls the traffic lights according to the traffic on road. This reduces the unnecessary traffic due to wait for their turn. Phase Determination using Gram-Schmidth Orthogonalisation: In this project, I have developed the application for the phase determination using Gram-Schmidth Orthogonalisation. We have proposed a novel two-step phase-shifting method based on the GS Orthonormalization method that does not need to know the phase step between interferograms. This algorithm can be especially useful in interferometry applications where the processing time is restrictive and the GUI provides an attractive and easy environment for using the algorithm in phase determination techniques. Smart Blind Stick: The main objective of this project is to design Smart Blind Stick that could perform more than just a stick for visually impaired persons. This Smart stick will have an IR sensor to sense distance from any obstacle, LDR to sense lighting conditions and a moisture sensor to detect water. All the feedbacks will be given to the blind man through a Buzzer. This could help them a lot and hope make their lives easier. Trainings
