Registrar must perform with enthusiasm in a confident manner with a pleasant voice tone. I am also expected to demonstrate excellent business etiquette to include verbal and nonverbal communication skills, computer skills and basic technical knowledge. I will pick up customers from the lobby and escort them to location for processing. I am also responsible for scheduling all appointments for customers, federal employees and contractors. I will perform verification of the customers, federal employee and contractors by confirming valid documentation such as driver license, passport, social security card and birth certificate or military id or certification of naturalization.
I will then take the customer, federal employee or contractor digital photograph and store it in the system. I will scan all documents into the computer system using a document scanner. I will coach the contractor, federal employee or customer through the digital fingerprint process. I would then send the information to the MSO system for further investigation. In two weeks the customer, federal employee, contractor will then return to pick up and activate the PIV card (Personnel Identification Verification Card). At which time, I will activate the card with their information. Education and Training
