Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting directly to Project HSE manager.

Ensure that the works are carried out strictly under PTW system and control measures mentioned in the PTW are in place

Carrying out area safety inspections

Follow up on use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Conduct mock drills for fire and emergency evacuation

Ensure tool box talks are conducted by supervisor on daily basis prior to commencing of activity and related hazards, precautionary measures, required PPE’S, and proper communication of emergency procedures.

Ensure good housekeeping, compliance of PPE’S and proper cable management in the site.

Follow up the site observations of unsafe act and unsafe conditions to close out.

Co coordinating with pre commissioning team related HSE issues.

Maintain records of all equipments and lifting gears that require Third party inspection and certificate.

Ensure that all lifting equipments are free from damage before commencing work by using daily checklist

Ensure that all hand tools, power tools and lifting gears are inspected and color coded by authorized persons.

Overall monitoring in construction site.

Investigating accidents and incidents, find route causes and recommending solutions

Inspection of worksites, rectify the unsafe conditions and acts.

Preparation of weekly and monthly report.

Maintain records of all third parties training certificate of employers.

Ensure that employees are undergone all mandatory training before sending to the site and it is valid.
