About Wal-Mart Training Center (Project of Centum Learning Ltd.):

Wal-Mart Training Center (W.T.C.) is being handled by Centum Learning Limited. We are doing Wal-Mart’s Corporate Social Responsibility (C.S.R) Activity process under Public Private Partnership (P.P.P.) Model & Best Price (B.P.) Model. This is a non-profit project, inaugurated by C.M. of Punjab, which deals with the Training, Development & Employment of the candidate. First sourcing of candidates is done with help of seminars in rural/urban areas and training is provided to the candidates. After the training, employments of candidates are taken care of. Candidates are not being charged for training and their employments.

Role and responsibility:-

Centre Management: - I worked as ‘Training Center Head’ for Wal-Mart’s Corporate Social Responsibility (C.S.R) Activity process. Managed a team of executives and developing various soft skills & winning corporate attitude among them included hiring and managing the manpower to reduce attrition rate. I worked to handle all operational activities for running a centre and also time management for achieving monthly targets of a centre.

Marketing: - Marketing is related with ‘sourcing & promotional’ activities for a centre. We planned meetings with heads/leaders e.g. sarpanch or paradhan of villages, college or Distance Learning Centers HODs/principals/Directors of different rural/urban areas and decided with them seminars or different promotional activities to guide people about our CSR project. Provided seminars in Rural/Urban areas for sourcing/promotional activities. Worked to paste pamphlets and posters as well.

Training/Placement: - Provided training and placements on process management for retail and cash & carry store requirement. Certified our trained candidates with our ‘Walmart Training Centre’ certificates and worked to reduce attrition rate of joined candidates.

Administration: - Managed and monitored all counselor activities related with weekly, fortnightly and monthly work. Managed all excel sheets.
