// PROFESSIONAL SKILLS .

o Knowledge about PFMECA, development and modification for process control o Developing routers for first article layout based on design inputs o Laser Programming for etch content as per requirements on distinct metal and plastic surfaces

o Welding process specification testing and development to control and constrain different work center inside the plant

o Worked per (FDA 21CFR820.75, ISO 13485) standards and internal quality requirements and created approx.. 45 manufacturing changes with regulatory affairs approval o Raised and dispositioned 170 technical reports (NCR) for rework or scrapping of non- conforming parts based on standard operating procedure and quality criteria’s o As a part of FDA(Food and Drug Administration) requirements, programmed GTIN for 350 parts number

o Reviewed 1200-partdrawings to add GTIN a unique identification number on parts o Flexible to work on Catia and Creo for 3d modelling o Worked on signature made to order parts under time constrain to resolve manufacturing traceability issues and deliver part in requested time. o Implemented the 3D printing technology for laser etch fixture to reduce the lead time efficiency by 300%

o Implemented process control in packaging operation and receiving segment to reduce human error

o Managed key KPI’s to support operations in floor and troubleshoot day to day issues

//Projects.

/ Initial Router – Process Development:

Performed over 150 router updates for process improvement, retain quality traceability and improve product quality

As a part of CAPA implemented work instruction on packaging cell and packaging job step added to 350 parts

Identified nicks created on ceramic blasted parts and router 75 parts to vapor degreasing cleaning instead of ultrasonic cleaning to prevent agitation caused by cleaning process

/ CAPA and Issue Evaluation:

Completed a non- conformance for commingle order (Grade 1 error in medical devices), identified the root cause of the problem. Implemented corrective action for issue

Part of a CNC fluid control CAPA, identified the potential root cause of the problem using fish bone drawing and reviewed close to 200 work instruction

Identified a preventive measure and implementation set to approved by Quality director

Established protocol to validate CNC machines and cognitive approach to redesign the fluid label to prevent error

To reflect the current practices and control the operation in cleaning work centers developed a work instruction for class III devices

/ Kaizen Event- Passivation Line:

Led the cost-down event to reduce the cost of production by remodeling the passivation basket and reducing the order quantity size based on weight-based approach to save $7500 per month

As a part of continuous improvement implemented identification tags to passivate 2 orders at the same time to reduce the cycle time in the process and also preventing order mixing

As a cognitive approach used a sound bazar in passivation tank to reduce the scrap due to improper passivation of parts

Created and owned On-the-Job training document for passivation line operators

/ Equipment Validation and Qualification:

Developed improved layout and constrain the surrounding of Titanium grinder and sander to eradicate the fire hazard caused to due to abrasive Titanium dust.

Worked with maintenance to add wet tables to 45 grinder and sanders inside the plant, qualify the equipment’s and train operator based on safe operations.

Identified and segregated 120 abrasive machines based on the nature of operation material and labelled the equipment as per 5s SOP for improved preventive maintenance

Laser etch machine validation for regulated etching and to achieve required legibility of 0.032 inch content height on stainless steel parts.

/ Tube Prizing:

Forecast supplier tube pricing and developed a predictive modeling regression analysis

Interpreted data from the given data set with 164 variables, 44000 instances of the tube prices and their variations

The predictive regression proved an accuracy of RMSLE of 0.609, Test developed with modelling techniques like decision tree, random forest and neural network modeling techniques increased the data driven decision-making aspect for the regression

/ Lean Operation room:

The focus of the project is to reduce the time delay in a gastrointestinal operation room.

A combined time series study for 4 months focusing on patients to evaluate the wastage of time inside the hospital

A combination of Gemba and 5 why evaluation to determine the root cause and value stream mapping

Kanban, JIT, Simple transportation was used to reduce the base metric, the time delay

The average time delay was reduced to 9.8 minutes from 36 minutes saving $85 per minute for 400 hours per year

/ Quality Analysis of Welding Signal - Master’s Project

Project focus on reducing lead time and cost of production in an industry using sound as a tool to analyze the welding quality. Online welding testing process with sound as an input. Root cause analysis for the weld beads geometry variability.

Precision conservation in Gas Metal Arc Welding to reduce variability in data analysis.

The analysis was done in MAT Lab for error detection. Evades skilled labor and expensive machinery for testing.

/ Society of Automotive Engineer- Formula Supra – Undergraduate project

Project lead for 25-member team, task focused on 3D design, development, fabrication and testing a formula class mono-car and maneuvered at the racing track with capacity of 600 cc

Gantt chart Development, Bill of Materials, Report Delivery to Management, Project update and weekly presentation to the sponsors and shareholders.

Training students assign weekly targets per vehicle progress, theoretical validation and verification of vehicle performance
