Assigned unique numbers to each welder to be qualified and assigned/verified identification number on each test coupon. Verified the materials/dimensions and position of test coupon used for qualification, verified to ensure that the welding parameters (amps/volts etc) are according to WPS. Performed visual inspection on completed welds (including root pass and joint fit-ups). Coordinated with contractor construction personnel and company inspection personnel to ensure the verification of all inspection requirements in compliance with ITP and project specification. Prepared quality records and coordinated with NDE team. Reviewed NDT records.

The Job involved Construction & Installation of FLET, ITA, FLOWLINES & RISERS: This includes Mooring Piles for FPSO, Flowline Piles, SPOOLS & JUMPERS. Inline Tee Assemblies (ITA)-: this includes Water injection ITA with one Hub (TW1) and with Two Hubs (TW2) respectively, ROV platforms, FLET (Flow line End Termination: Including Production, Gas injection and Water injection FLET (FP1, FG1, FW1 & FW2) respectively, Fabrication and installation of wellhead manifolds, monitored and inspected pigging operations.

Fabrication of structural offshore platforms, bridges, mud mats & jacket and flare columns.

Collated inspection reports from inspectors on day & night shifts, reviewed the reports and followed up issues raised to closure. Participated in the WPS qualification, daily weld follow-up for the SMAW & FCAW welding processes.
