Contributions and Outcomes

1.360 feedback review/report - this system was implemented for finding out the personal development needs of employees and what other employees think are the areas of improvement the employee seeking feedback requires. This was a 100% anonymous feedback. Feedbacks were categorized into rated feedback based on a questionnaire or free text feedback stating the strengths or weakness of the employee. The employee seeking this feedback would receive a report at the end of the 360 feedback process. The feedback process could also be benchmarked with another prior feedback process or with another line of business or country etc. I was the brainchild of this feedback process, the global IT team and HR teams helped in this implementation.

Outcome - this is still not only being used in India but in 120+ KPMG member firms across the globe.

2.Talent Management and Succession/retention Planning - when a valued employee leaves a firm, it creates a vacuum and a lot of time is spent in selecting the replacement. While finding the replacement it causes pressure on peers or subordinates in achieving their targets, many a time the TAT is either missed to deliver the completed job or the job delivered is not satisfactory as per expectations. In many companies even the client is lost. To avoid such situations I created a detailed report where the focus was on training and development of employees to fill the gap, also on measures the firm needs to undertake for retaining valued employees.

Outcome - the report was approved and my firm had set up a panel to implement succession planning at various levels, and created a category in the performance review for retaining employees. This also helped the company in evaluation and cost cutting while hiring and retaining employees. At an employee stand point it helped employees and Human resources to get internal job movements done better as employees could apply for job roles as per their expertise/interests instead of looking elsewhere.

3.Performance review and Employee engagement - Part of the core HR team to set up the strategic and performance goals and KPI's of employees and have these goals cascaded to all the employees. Take part in the calibration process and finalize the yearly ratings. Also used to handle queries or technical issues of the performance system. Sent out weekly circulars to employees about the various activities and trainings available to them to participate and enchase their skills.

Outcome - lead the employee engagement program team and be a part of the campus recruitment team.
