About me, at present, I am working at Bangladesh Red Crescent Society’s Red Crescent Blood Center as Deputy Director Finance. I have got twenty five years more working experience in the field of Finance, Accounts, administrative and financial management of which sixteen and half years with American Embassy in Bangladesh. Conducted two months training course for the Financial Management Staff of Iraq Support Unit, US Embassy in Jordan in 2004.

Concerning my academic qualification, I have done my Masters in Accounting from the University of Dhaka and have completed a two years course in cost management and accounting. In addition, I have attended and completed various professional trainings/courses in administrative and financial management.

During my prolong services in the field of administration and financial matters, I have performed various responsibilities in timely and professional manners. Some of these include, but are not limited to: (a) preparing budgets, work-plans, financial statements, correspondences and reports,(b) administer Local and International tender including negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors and monitor supplier performance to meet the quality and delivery requirements. (c) managing administrative and financial records, (d) contributing in the recruitment of staff and procurement of goods, (e) verifying and monitoring financial transactions on procured goods, (f) preparing contracts and appraisals for agencies and staff, (g) coordinating with Government, International and national agencies on administrative and financial issues, (h) providing capacity building and training support to staff on financial and administrative matters. (i) During the period of leave/absence of Director Hospital, took responsibilities as Acting Director.

As to my personal attributes, I am friendly, team player and uphold professional integrity. In recognition of my services, I have received fifteen awards from the American Embassy.
