Working as a Process Associate in a payments, investigation, Compliance SDN/AML/KYC & Reconciliation Team for Global Corporate Investment Banking (GCIB) for Citibank UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar this Carriers requests and queries related to incoming and internal money transaction and outgoing payments within the country and other cross border countries

Roles & Responsibilities:

Handling online funds transfer request from customers

Handling and Processing the payments in CITIDOCS which is received via FAX MIFT bank/branch etc

Monitoring outgoing and incoming payment flow, which involves SWIFT, CHIPS, CHAPS, FEDWIRE and BIC routing

Proficient in SWIFT message like MT103, MT202, MT199, MT299 MT910 and others

Responsible to perform DA, Amendment, Recall of funds and UTA

Handling AML (Anti money Laundering), Compliance queries

Experience in identifying OFAC Sanctions risks on Commercial banking clients.

Experience in reviewing and interesting transactions with reference to payments L1 alerts and escalations done further if identified containing potential matches against sanctions under OFAC, UN, Global & UAE CAT Lists.

Responsible to perform full review on the customer by understanding their nature of business, buyers and suppliers transaction history of the client and perform various check to understand total level of exposure and risk appetite

Keeping all relevant administrative records up to date and responding to all regulatory inquiries from the authorities

Monitoring the Post service activities like follow up with the customers, service reminders and handling customer grievances for superior customer service

To document the Process of the recon for Citibank UAE fund transfer at TCS and to ensure that all payments are actioned while ensuring that clients are protected

Performing daily reconciliations like citidocs, telex, citidirect & card SI for banking clients ensuring all outages are assigned to appropriate departments

Identifying ineffective areas within own BAU process and initiating changes for them – Proposing resolving discrepancies

Awards & Recognition :

Obtained many appreciation mails from clients for act and clarify payments related queries and for process payments

Received consistent and performer award for stopping duplicated payments before it gets processed
