Celebrity fashions Ltd is one of India’s premium manufacturers and exporter of readymade Garments since 1988. Having a strong workforce of 3600 employees producing woven based products for Men’s, women & kids. It has 3 state of the art manufacturing facilities and one exclusive washing facility. The company has its own national premier men’s wear brand.

Key Responsibilities Delivered:

Talent management & Employee skill development:

●Monitoring the recruitment activities and ensure a smooth on boarding process for all new joiners.

●Forecasting, Budgeting, and planning of manpower requirement across factories

●To ensure there are no shortfall of skilled employees which affects the targets given by the management.

●Training within the industry (TWI) effectiveness is monitored on a monthly basis to minimize the shortfall of skilled manpower

●Coordinating the NSDC (Skill India) to impart training to unskilled new joiners and with training agency to impart training to our staff members.

●Creating and analyzing the MIS to ensure the Structure, cost and numbers are with the approved budget.

Strategic partner:

●Informing / updating the management on any latest amendments / changes notified by the local governmental bodies or any customer’s requirements

●Proposing various methodologies and plans to the Management with cost forecast to incorporate the changes in to the system

●Syncing the organizational & peoples strategies to be aligned with the business strategy.

●Member of the employee special benefits approval team to review and put forth to the management for approval.

Policies and procedure:

●Developing relevant policies and procedure to maintain a proper HR process and amending the existing policies and procedures whenever required.

●Implementation of policies and procedure across factories with in flawless manner

●Regular monitoring to verify the effectiveness of the policies implementation and ensure there are no deviations in the system

Social and statutory Compliance:

●Ensuring the factories are following the applicable local laws / customers requirements through continuous monitoring.

●Handling the customer’s social compliance audits and certifications audits based on their supplier manual requirements and ensuring the factory is cleared with minimum non- conformances.

●Providing Corrective Action Plan(CAP) against the audit report with a proper timelines to complete the issues raised

●Follow up CAP will be forwarded with the document / photo evidence as a closure to the raised non-conformance points

Internal Audits:

●Monthly internal audits are planned to cross verify the effectiveness of the implementation of social performance indicators such as Social and Statutory requirements

●Planning and executing the half yearly internal audits based on the SA 8000 standards and conducting the management review meeting to analysis the outcome of the audit.

●Proper corrective action plan is given to rectify the issues raised during the internal audit.

●Review of action taken / corrected issues will be reviewed in the next cycle.

Performance Management System & Employees development initiatives:

●Employees performance review is carried out on a yearly basis through a structured appraisal forms

●Ensuring unbiased Performance ratings, Recommendations are provided by the HOD of respective departments

●The accepted rating and recommendations are used for the Increment and promotions purpose.

●The identified training needs are put forth to the management for review

●Special attention given to good performance and allowing them to grow along with the system by suggesting to their respective HOD for TWI for career development.

HR Review Mechanism:

●Monitoring the department functions through daily weekly monthly schedule (DWMS) on a regular basis

●Regular meet with the factory HR personnel to review their performance and their feedback to improve their quality of work and to give assistance to any sort of problems raised by them to ensure nothing affects their normalcy.

●Organizing quarterly HR review for all factories and their overall performance will be reviewed. Action plan for the next quarter will be mutually finalized to meet the organizational goals.

Grievance Handling Procedures:

●Any grievance raised will be recorded and investigated in a proper manner through unbiased approach

●Proper investigation report will be generated with the finding and recommendations to the Management for their review and action will be taken based on the management decision.

Event management:

●Organizing all events such as annual awards, annual meets and training programmes as per plan advised by the management

●Organising kaizen events on monthly basis to recognize the employees who have implemented to enhance their work process

Other Activities:

●Organising and monitoring the CSR activities

●Attending programs organized by various associations to understand the practices of other industries and update the Management for any improvement plan.
