I previously was the Kansas City District Manager for Eldridge Fine Jewelry. My position there was to keep revenue in all stores at a peak, trouble shoot problem stores, monitor inventories and promote new sales strategies. I succeeded with a great team to bring troubled stores back by increasing revenue and profit margins with " making a sale by listening and honesty ". Powell Gardens recently had a new change over in CEO and Directors in the gardens and many of us were laid off due to budget cuts.

At Powell Gardens my clients always came first, making their time memorable, whether I planned a wedding with them or a retreat. When working all garden events I was start to finish with the project. I wore many hats, without complaint.

My goal was for all those that visited the gardens whether the first time or one of many visits each one would walk away with a possitive and memorable experience. We were an office in a house left mostly to ourselves to make the decisions, that is how I trained the coordinators. We not only needed to ensure that visitors had a great time, but need to ensure the protection of the gardens as well. Time management was essential since we were a small office to do all contracts, consults, as well as vendor meetings, invoices, email answering and telephone calls, and all financial collections and distributions, and general office. Often we worked alone in this building, so time manegement was essential.

I feel I am a very loyal employee and with a proven track record of a team player. Believe I have many qualities to work in a variety of fields. My goal in life is always to be the best at what I do, understanding that honesty, integrity and good listening and communication skills will allow me to do so.
