Jan 2016 – till date Working on my Own as TOC Consultant.

Did 5 projects with different customers in the field of TOC

i)With a high Precision Engineering company in Aurangabad and helped them improve their productivity from 650 units per month to 950 nos per month

ii)Helped an automotive supplier to streamline their production system by implementing DBR keeping their CCR in mind thereby helping them improve their throughput.

iii)Worked with a Unit which had multilocation high volume and high number of products close to 350 nos to improve their supplier rating by improving their delivery performance.

iv)Helped a company which was stuck for growth identify a need for new product and helped them with new product development process by qualifying the market needs & be ahead with technologically advanced and superior designed product which is standing out amongst competition.

v)Helped a medical equipment manufacturer with a go to market strategy. Got the ball rolling by initiating first few orders, identifying salient features of the machine which were superior to competition, getting an organization to support it.

vi)Working with consulting company as a partner to help it develop Management Gaming. A new Concept to achieve Amazing Results.; Helping a company in digital dentistry propagate their products & a friend to help with tapping the market for 3D printers in dentistry.

Established new and upgraded turning products for 2 brands, Kennametal and Widia in India, which grew 3.5 times to Rs. 100Cr+ annually, gaining estimated 26% of market share in 5years time @ Gross Margins of approx. 50%+

Product portfolio contributes to 40% business of metal cutting through new turning products developed during the last 5 years, supported by a direct product application team of 5 people

Participated as team member in global development of high-performance products through a structured 4 stage gate process called ACE. Bring in new products to stay ahead of the curve.

Through the same Ace Process as a leader developed new grades for cast iron machining with a cross-functional team from US and Europe, giving higher productivity of 30% + over existing products in market. Same Grade became no. 2 selling product globally in about 3 years time.

Introduced a new product platform ‘Beyond’ in India. This platform used new technology, targeting high-end customers which tripled the turnover within 9 months and with Gross Margin @ approx. 60%+

Upgraded 4 product families which were getting old, yielding approx. Rs. 22 Cr + sales in the first year itself through obsolescence plans for products towards end of their maturity curve, through 3-stage gate process called UCE

Launched Kennametal Brand Kenna Perfect Inserts into the market generating a sales of about Rs10Mio + in first year itself.

Developed an import substitute for a trepanning operation generating business of about Rs4Mio
