Skills

Throughout my career in the performing arts, I have become well known for my organizational skills as well as my unique ability to be comfortable in front of a large or small group of people. I am able to maintain control of large competitions as the Master of Ceremonies and maintain order among the participants, spectators, organizers and staff. I can effectively organize events with thousands of participants and manage the support staff for these events.

In my teaching career, I have developed curriculum for new courses at the university, as well as for secondary education programs and private studios. I have successfully guided students through difficult classes and helped them achieve the desired results. I have developed master class topics and delivered these lectures throughout Utah and surrounding states.

I constantly strive for my own personal professional development by attending conferences and workshops to enhance my skills and my delivery methods. I am a board member of an organization that promotes the teachers of ballroom dancing in Utah and have provided valuable insight and direction for elementary, secondary, and higher education teachers as they create courses and programs, direct their students and teams, and prepare their students for what will be required of them at the university level.

I have partnered with organizations such as AAU Junior Olympics on several competitive projects as an adjudicator and organizer.
