Recruited to modernize the development process and enhance portfolio of 2D/3D software suite for core DEXIS 2D, i-CAT 3D, and WixWin digital imaging products, generating $250M in revenue, to enable KaVoKerr to capture new revenue streams and increase competitive advantage.

Lead SAFe Agile/Scrum teams in the rapid delivery of customer-focused features for new and next-generation of digital imaging products. Collaborate with senior leaders to define product direction and vision. Manage geographically dispersed team of 15+ resources in the United States and Europe, and software development budget.

Championed the architectural design and delivery of innovative solutions that enabled company to transform from a software/hardware provider to a full-service solutions provider.

Pivotal role in facilitating the capture of ISO 9001 compliance. Partnered with multiple teams to create and document traceable processes and detailed product reliability and performance data.

MANAGER OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

Brought in as the 6th employee of Univel, a joint-venture effort between USL and Novell to facilitate the development and launch of the 1st server-based operating system, UnixWare (UNIX). Kept on and promoted to Software Architect following acquisition of Univel by Novell to oversee the rollout of next-generation UnixWare operating system. Following acquisition by SCO I lead teams in the design and implementation of key capabilities of UnixWare, RealTime UnixWare and Embedded UnixWare operating systems to capture new markets and enable continued revenue growth. Managed teams of up to 25.

Leadership & Strategy

Pivotal core in developing and launching UnixWare 1.0 operating system within 16 months. Chosen as member of Emergency Technology Team charged with evaluating and implementing emerging technologies into product offering to enable the launch of next-generation of UnixWare operating system.
