I am a motivated, energetic and skillfull worker who is in possession of a Red Seal Welding Trade Test- NQF 5 since July 2014. I have been welding for 8 years. My latest projects were in Tanzania (January 2014- October 2016) for Sizwe Piping, Uganda ( Jan-March 2012 ; June 2012-August 2012 ; September 2012-December 2012; Jan 2013-March 2013; May 2013 ) Dubai (May 2012; June 2013) for Letcolog (pty) ltd . I have also worked in South Africa as part of different projects at Breweries and Refineries. Please kindly consider my application for the welder position.

Duties :

Duties have included but aren’t limited to :

Following welding procedures for Mig, Tig, Double Tig, Arc and CO2 and able to use grinder and pencil grinder .

Welding for the following industries/environments: structural, tanks, food and beverage, oil and gas.

Tack-welds.

Removes rough spots from workpiece, using portable grinder or hand file. Determines required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of welding techniques. Cleans up respective area and maintains housekeeping. Will assist with other responsibilities if asked.
