Eshowe District Hospital: Was an electrical intern for 18 months, was placed in multiple

departments such as, plumbing,

carpentry, mechanical and the

electrical department, I was also

under the admin part of the

workshop, dealing with budget

layouts, typing of minutes and as

well as drawing out plans on excel.

Empangeni Build It: Worked at Empangeni build it for 1year 2months as a Grv clerk but

also held on in a managerial

position, my experience in the

hardware has grown since I

worked for this company, I am

capable of taking care of an entire

store by myself in terms of

ordering, doing necessary admin

as well as a clear understanding of

the cash up process, as far as staff

goes I know how to control them

as well, I also possess skills in

despatching and receiving of

stocks.

Buildrite Hardware And Supplies: I was employed at Buildrite hardware and supplies on the

01/09/2017 at their Empangeni

branch I worked there for 3

months as the yard manager and

then requested a transfer to the

Eshowe branch, because Eshowe

was basically home, at the Eshowe

Branch I was put into Customer

Service as Customer Service

Manager (Head of sales for the

store and customer queries), but

as you know you need to be

flexible in hardware, apart from

being customer service manager, I

was in full control of Cash office

for the store ensuring that all tills

are opened and closed at the start

and end of each and every day, as

well as ensuring that all money

made by the store is banked and

picked up by Fidelity, also making

sure that the girls in charge of

capturing stocks into the system

were always up to date with Grv’s,also apart from that was

overseeing that all floor staff as

well as staff treat customers with a

friendly welcome because this is

where we make the money and

that is with the customer’s, my

role was an important one as well

learning from the store manager

how to basically “Manage” a store, making sure that every morning

the store is neat and tidy and

ready for business this which was

done the afternoon before,

ensuring that stocks are packed

neatly and labelled properly

basically when that one customer

walks in he will not turn away

because he can easily find what he

is looking for. But My Main thing

in being customer service manager

was to never let the customer

walk out no matter how big or

small the sale was and that is why

I can proudly say that Buildrite

Eshowe in all its years of Existence

made a Turnover of 5million for

the first time in the Month of

November back in 2018, my

biggest motivation to the staff is

never let any other hardware store

take the market share, I believe

this because if you want to rule

you need to go big or go home,

because I don’t believe that its just

about surviving out there in the

retail I believe take what you can

and if you can take it all then grab

it with all your might. Reason for

No longer working there I was

unfairly dismissed on the 20th of

April 2019 and now seek a new

adventure, duration worked there

was around 1year and 7months.
