EXPERIENCE

Allied Universal Corporation/Transportation Shipping Unlimited--Brunswick, GA

Branch (Plant) Manager (2015—Current):

Report directly to CEO for all of AUC and TSU profit and loss for Brunswick facility.

Budget, plan, and execute all of Brunswick’s large capital projects.

Responsible for safely managing all aspects of producing and re-packaging multiple hazardous chemicals at Allied’s Brunswick Facility and it’s shipment via Transportation Shipping Unlimited.

Directly responsible for hiring and firing of plant personnel.

Active in community outreach programs (local emergency planning committee, facility tours, fire department drills, etc.).

Handle all announced and unannounced audits by government regulators (DOT, FBI, Homeland Security, insurance representatives, etc.).

Hired specifically to provide strong leadership, restore integrity, and instill teamwork at the Brunswick location.

Ford Motor Company (Kentucky Truck Plant)--Louisville, KY

Night Shift Operations Manager (2009-2014):

●Solely responsible for managing night shift operations at the Kentucky Truck Plant and its over 2000 hourly employees and 50-60 salaried employees.

●Responsible for managing the Plant’s overall manpower for the shift and transferring across departments as needed.

●Directly responsible for the Plant meeting its daily volume of 850-900 vehicles a shift at an objective of 90 jobs per hour while also meeting inventory objectives.

●Completed nightly shift report for the entire Plant comprised of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale.

●Received extensive yearly training on Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and FPS (Ford Production System).

●Responsible for planning and executing all of the Plant’s large weekend/holiday rework (repair) programs for vehicle launches and supplier quality issues.

●Responsible for placement of “new hires” and temporary workers.

●Recognized twice in 2014 by upper management for exemplifying Ford leadership qualities while running nightshift operations.

●Responsible for departmental safety, quality, production, and cost metrics.

●Attended daily cost meetings to address manpower, indirect material, overtime, and scrap costs.

●Monitored departmental quality and participated in daily quality meetings to resolve internal and external concerns (Warranty).

●Participated in several vehicle launches as well as the launch of the Expedition/Navigator Trim Department after the SUV was moved to our facility from Michigan.

●MPS (General Foreman) directly responsible for the training and performance of 9 newly hired supervisors for the Excursion Trim Department.

●Responsible for setting up workloads and workstations for the launch of the Excursion SUV.

●Launched the all new Excursion SUV in the new trim shop built from the “ground up” for its arrival. Success of Launch led to immediate promotion to superintendent.

●Managed personal leave and vacation calendars for hourly workforce.

All below mentioned supervisor responsibilities with the addition of Maintenance and Engineering responsibilities for Super Duty Paint Department’s dual Enamel Spray Booths.

●Supervised several diverse production areas at KTP including the Paint, Frame, Trim, and Chassis Departments assembling Medium & Heavy Duty work trucks as well as Super Duty trucks.

●Responsible for timekeeping/payroll of several teams comprised of 10-20 hourly employees.

●Responsible for making daily volume requirements and maintaining associated downtime reports.

●Responsible for writing operation process sheets and safely setting up workstations.

●Responsible for maintaining team’s operation versatility and ensuring compliance with ergonomic rotations as needed.

●Responsible for daily distribution of indirect materials and personal protective equipment as needed.
