-Designing a better bulk handling and transfer processes for all liquid ingredients at Davenport. This resulted in reduced waste and increased productivity by 15%.

Provided key process engineering support in key commercialisation projects such as P3 snacking and Deli fresh line extensions.

Associate Engineer II- Process Development August 2013- June 2015

Provided process engineering support and improvement strategies with projects like:

- Optimizing the thermal and chill process for cold cuts SKUS at Davenport- This project opened 2M lbs. worth of new capacity for bologna production.

- Process design scope for future state Newberry slaughter facility- This project will increase our throughput capacity by 50%.

Installation of new and innovative equipment and technologies in plants such as:

- POSS- an alternate and efficient grinding system which significantly reduced bone complaints by customers.

Managed and implemented successful formulation changes through Meridian across major Oscar Mayer brands and SKUS.

Dalehead Foods, Cambridge

Project Engineer October 2011 – April 2013

Managed and organized Capital Expenditure projects with budgets of up to $2,000,000 across the four Dalehead sites. Projects included:

-Process Improvement: A clear and thorough CAPEX approval process for all Dalehead projects, Increasing the killing capacity of a pig abattoir from 400pigs/hr to 500 pigs/hr, Standardisation of pig legs and shoulders boning, Designing CIP systems for conveyors.

-Civil: Refurbishment of offices and server rooms, Resurfacing of roads.

-Facilities: Ventilation Upgrades, Upgrading Site security, Fire Prevention, Resurfacing of factory walls, General building maintenance for e.g. drainages, lighting, ventilation.

Carried out a fair and open tender process in other to hire, manage and supervise contractors.

Monitored all projects and ensure that they were completed per the designed technical specification as well as BRC, USDA, HACCP, GMP, British and European Union safety standard regulations.
