Residential Advisor: (Group home setting - Males, DD/IDD/MH) Responsibilities included providing consumers with direct care support and transportation. Assistance in achieving daily activities such as personal care, hair and skin care, dental care, laundry, housekeeping, entertainment, and supporting of and inspiring social interaction. Administrative abilities include but are not limited to; superior customer service, daily log recording, consumer budget reconciliation via accurate accounting. Documented and verbal communication with staff regarding consumer updates, i.e. such as changes to support plan, etc. Attendance to all staff meetings and training. CPR/First Aid certified while in training, includes crisis management and positive reinforcement. Hours: days, nights, overnight, weekends, holidays Residential Advisor: (Group home setting - Females, DD/IDD/MH) Training and responsibilities include but are not limited to; superior customer service, consumer support toward independence, implementation of instruction on cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal planning, hygiene, social interaction, budgeting and paying bills. Acceptable behavior, crisis management, safety practices in all areas, good ethics and budget planning were implemented through regular classroom hours. Transportation of consumers to appropriate social activities, medical, and psychiatric appointments was provided. Documentation of daily activities, incidents and progress reports were sustained. Participation in ISP process was demonstrated along with attendance to regular staff meetings and training sessions.

Home Health Aide: (Private duty)
Responsibilities included but are not limited to, attention to consumer health and safety policy and regulations for the management of mild, moderate to severe dementia/Alzheimer's. Other duties involved housekeeping, laundry, cooking, shopping, gardening, and assistance with hygiene and other personal care needs such as medication monitoring and administering. Support and advocacy for acting agencies, family, social relationships and endeavors was necessary and implemented on behalf of consumer.

Responsibilities include but not limited to; CNA required duties (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, incontinence care, hair and skin care, dental care, housekeeping, etc.), hospice training, certified medication administration, MAR documentation, and implementation of fire safety drills. Certified CPR/First Aid training objectives were achieved. Assisted facility activities director with educational and recreational interaction. Facility population included MH/MR/IDD/DD/HIV consumers.
Hours: 3 pm - 11 pm, overnight, mornings
