Synthesis Of Chitosan Infused Membranes for Waste Water Treatment Description: A Chitosan polymer matrix was prepared by dissolving in glacial acetic acid and three membranes were prepared by infusing with sodium alginate, graphene oxide and activated carbon respectively. The untreated sample water collected from treatment plant was allowed to pass through the membrane and the water collected was analysed for TDS, salinity and conductivity. The values obtained were compared with standards of water used for agriculture.

Invitro studies on Of PCL/GEL/HPMC Copolymers in drug delivery Description: Novel Polycaprolactone-Gelatin-Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose blend membranes were synthesized and effectual delivery of the antibiotic drug
(Glycomet GP1) was carried out using the synthesized membranes.The membranes were checked for swelling and drug releasing capabilities. An increase in HPMC content to a certain extent showed better results in Swelling, loading as well as in drug releasing.
