JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading a team consists of instrument Technicians, Instrument fitters & Electrician for installation & commissioning and Constructions & maintenance of process control instrumentation field.

Working as Instrument Control Maintenance calibration adjusts and control Instrumentation. This Instrumentation makes sure that all machine in plant are safe and Running correctly Instrumentation and control techniques is very important and the constantly monitor and calibrator the Instrument.

Calibration Re commissioning & pre commissioning preventive maintenance activity of almost all Types of process control instrument Fault finding and Troubleshooting activities of various process control instrument. Field Diagnostics check and remote calibration is using Hart communicator 475.

Reviewing of instrumentation drawings such as instrumentation location and cable tray layout, installation hook ups, junction boxes, loop schemes & cable schedules. Manpower planning and estimation, and preparation Daily Progress reports (DPR).

Calibration, Fault Finding & Troubleshooting of Instruments like Transmitters, Control Valve, on/off Valve, Vibration and Temperature elements, Gauges, Switches, Pressure relief Valves,

Electronic and Pneumatic measuring and test instruments.

Loop checking & Trip Checking with Yokogawa Centum 3000 DCS Operations.

Quality control assistance, Calibration report preparation and Engineering documentation activities.

Preparing Loop Folders, Daily progress reports, Daily Maintenance reports, Request for inspection etc. Carry out field checks to confirm that the work is being performed in accordance with the current revisions of drawing and specifications prior to the start of the installation activities.

Planning, scheduling & monitoring of activities on daily, weekly & monthly basis and preparation of the reports.

Zero check, zero trim and calibration of transmitter. Calibration of temperature transmitter, RTD, different types of thermocouple J,K,R,S etc. calibration of thermo probe.

Planning & coordinating with the contractor and client for timely completion of all activities.

Coordinating with the contractors and client for any variations as per the drawing and specifications.

Coordinating with the QA/QC Department for ensuring request for inspection meets the requirement of the project quality plan.

Responsible for monitoring and closing of punch list.

Responsible for supervision and monitoring of the instrument testing, installation, calibration and commissioning of process control.

Responsible for verification of incoming materials with respect to approved quality plan.

Test equipment required has been calibrated accordance with the requirement of the relevant standards and specifications, prior to the carrying out of the testing activities, aspects in safety are observed.

The Interpretation of P&ID, LOOP Drawing, Instrument Wiring Plan, General Arrangement & Layout Drawing, Hook up drawing for Erection, Installation of all types of Instrument.
