Area of Expertise:

•Proficient in operation of RO based De mineralized Water Treatment Plant having generation capacities up-to 70 m3/hr with all auxiliaries like UF System, Polishing and Filtrations.

•Carrying out day to day analysis of waters (Raw water, Cooling Tower water and boiler water) samples, fuel and chemical testing’s and keeping its records.

•Monitoring Cooling Tower performance by optimizing Chemical dosing and blow down for its efficient performance.

•Working knowledge of SAP-R3 system.

•Responsible for procurement and placement of chemicals, apparatus and safety requirement of the water treatment plant and cooling tower.

•Implementing quality plans in co-ordination with production teams, enabling achievement of quality targets preparing internal audit schedules and coordinating with external auditors.

•Implementations of various in house as well as Capex project for Water management to optimize cost of production.

Assignments Handled:

Analysis of water sample as various locations to maintain the operational parameters for fulfilling trouble free Power demand of the Plant.

Coal Analysis: 1. Coal sampling preparation (ASTM –D2013/D2234), 2.Total Moisture (ASTM-D3302), 3. Inherent Moisture (ASTM-D3173), 4. Volatile Moisture (ASTM-D3175), 5. ASH (ASTM-D3174), 6. Fixed Carbon (ASTM-D3172), 7. GCV (ASTM-D2015/D5865).

Operation and trouble shooting of 2x17 m3 /hr, 2x140 m3/hr and 2x280 m3/hr Wipro, Ion exchange and Thermax India Limited Make DM Plant.

Commissioning, Conditioning and monitoring 3x80 m3/hr and 3 x 145 m3/hr UF and also 3x60 m3/hr Thermax make RO plant.

Operation and Maintenance of a cooling water treatment (4 x45400 M3)including Installation of corrosion coupons and DDM Monitoring.

Analysis of various Fuel quality used in Plant (Coal, HSD and Tare Oil)

Preparation and Maintenance of daily and monthly production and consumption records and also preparing documentation as per ISO standards for quarterly and yearly reviews.

Maintaining the PSM (Plant Safety Management), SWC (Specific Water Consumption) and 5’s systems as per industrial requirements.

Calibration of PH, Conductivity, Turbidity meter and UV spectrophotometer etc.

Operation and maintenance of Chlorine Di-Oxide generator system.

Operation and maintenance of Clarifier (cap-1330 *6 M3).

Operation and maintenance of pretreatment, RO & DM plants through PLC system.

Academic Qualifications:

Master in Science. (Chemistry) from Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management University, Sikkim (West Bengal) with 73.75% in the year 2012.

B.Sc. ( PHYS, CHEM, MATH ) from Vidyasagar University, Mahishadal (West Bengal) with 45.00% in the year 1998.

12th Science from west Bengal Board of Secondary Education Board, Mahishadal (West Bengal) with 52.90% in the year 1996.
