Director of Payroll Services & HRIS, for a real estate investor and property management company has over 300 location in 45 state and local taxing bodies for 2,000 employees. Directly responsible to the management of the Payroll and HRIS department with at team of 3 member. Currently using Ultimate in-house software in tandem with Kronos and Ceridian.

Improve the CA compliance by install the Attestation software in Kronos. Ensure that pay statements are following all California regulation. Perform monthly audit to ensure that all system stay in compliance.

Outsource benefit to Mercer Marketplace 365+.

Create and implemented an automated General Ledger file for GL/Yard/MC file and Cash Reporting. Build relationship cross function team and ensure that the IT and accounting teams understand the “why”.

Work with the compliance team to maintain compliance for Federal Communication Commission (FCC) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).

Reduced overtime for 50% by implementing automation of external reporting.

Director of Payroll Services, a commercial real estate company has over 1000 location in 30 states and 2000 employees. Directly responsible to the management of the payroll department with a team of 3 team members. Currently utilizing Ultimate in-house software in tandem with Ceridian. Implemented the full Workday suite including Time & Attendance, Human Resources, Payroll and Absence Management

Improved the accuracy rate from 33% to 99.99%. This accuracy rate has been achieved by implementing policy and procedure.

Designed, implemented and trained on two new in-house Time and Attendance programs.

Decreased yearly cost due to automation the areas of overpayments ($10,000), expense payments ($50,000), Unemployment management ($15,000) and reducing headcount ($60,000).

Managed a payroll department of five employees, which provide compensation for 10, 000 employees in the United States under 72 Federal Identification number. Using PROBusiness (ADP) software to transmit a weekly/bi-weekly payroll.

Implemented and administers and electronic Employment Verification System and Wage Payment System.

Initiated and developed a working partnership with our time and attendance vendor to utilize the software package that was purchased but never maintained. This resulted in superior cost controls for both the Chicago location and the entire organization.
