For Dignity Health: Managed the conversion of existing Dignity Health infrastructure to new network and workstation configuration. Handled the development of test plans and test cases for using the revenue cycle applications. Applications included Cerner, MedSeries4 and others. Oversaw user acceptance testing for each of the systems available for end users.
For Sutter Health: Assisted a major regional health care provider in determining interface requirements for integrating an Epic system with regional third party applications including Medquist, Sodexo, Eclipsys, Siemens and others and managing their development, testing and implementation to production.
For MD Anderson Cancer Center: Assisted a nationally recognized Houston Cancer Center in replacing their current patient scheduling and financial applications. Managed a team of an HL7 Analyst, Integration Engineer, and a Data Base Analyst. Responsible for designing the architecture and interfaces between new scheduling and financial applications with third party clinical applications.
For Catholic Health Initiatives: Developed an RFP to evaluate and select new integration software to replace multiple legacy systems nearing end-of-life. Worked with client and vendors to develop a Proof of Concept, coordinated vendor demonstrations and provided recommendations for product selection.
For Kaiser Permanente: Managed finance and benefits implementation projects to support the replacement of an enterprise-wide claims management system. Responsible for project scope, objectives, deliverables and managing overall approach. Applications included benefits configuration and management and claims processing.
For Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles: On team to scope effort required to upgrade, integrate and test multiple clinical and lab applications in preparation for the hospital’s move to a new wing. Systems included: Cerner, McKesson, Esoterix, Sodexo and Varian and others.
For Bank of America: Provided project management services in support of designing and developing custom SQL reports for the Making Home Affordable, Home Saver Solutions Network and for compliance metrics submitted to the U.S. Treasury.
For Amgen: Project managed $550K effort to migrate from legacy applications to enterprise-wide Learning Management System. Ensured compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 regulations. Managed project using Rational Unified Process (RUP).
For Northrup Grumman: Project managed effort to implement a Real Estate and Lease Management system to replace a legacy application. Planned roll-out of a pilot project to verify the capabilities of the system. The implemented system was projected to save over $65M in building occupancy savings.
For CVS/Caremark: Project managed effort to implement an Open Text data and document archival system integrated with SAP. Deployed system improved ERP user responses times by over 35% and reduced data storage by 25%.
