October, 2018 to current - Buyer – Probat Burns – Vernon Hills, Illinois

I am currently managing over $2 million in purchased parts (both Nationally and Internationally) for the Demand of 90% of the large industrial coffee roasters distributed across the United States. I work in conjunction with other buyers to coordinate the planning activities between all vendors, Engineering, key Management personnel, and Marketing. I work very closely with the Engineering Department in the implementation of the changes that affect all parts under my planning control. Responsible for ongoing maintenance of item records.

April, 2015 to April, 2016 - Demand Planner –Zebra Technologies – Vernon Hills, Illinois

I was solely responsible for working with sales and generating the monthly demand plan for all printers across the United States. Presented monthly demand planning projections to sales, upper management and product managers. Responsible for ongoing maintenance of item records. Worked very closely with the buyers to meet customer demand and adjust demand plan as necessary.

March, 2013 to April, 2015 - Demand Planner –Division 81 (Primary Care) – Medline, Inc. – Mundelein, Illinois

I was responsible for the monthly demand plan for Division 81 (Primary Care). I coordinated with Sales the Division, Product Managers and customers to interpret data and formulate a monthly forecast by item, by customer for retail Division 81 items. Ongoing maintenance of item records is performed as necessary as it relates to the data in SAP that can affect the demand plan. Assisted in the coordination of monthly meetings with sales and the Division to review and discuss individual accounts and further interpret past, present and future sales.

November, 2009 March, 2013 - Inventory Production Planner Integration and Test Department – Teradyne, Buffalo Grove, Illinois

I was solely responsible for assisting the Engineering Department in the implementation of the changes that affect both of the departments under my planning control. From my initial date of hire, I successfully took over of 2 departments as the sole planner in under one year. Using two different systems I managed the demand for all purchased parts for both departments and worked with the buyers to ensure all work orders couild be completed in a timely manner as needed and required to manage the data in both systems (SysPro and Camstar). I constantly maintained department data and produced monthly and weekly reports for my direct manager and upper management.

June, 2007 to November, 2008 Buyer/Planner – MonoGen, Inc. – Waukegan, Illinois

In a start-up company environment, I successfully managed the Demand for all purchased parts for a newly developed piece of medical diagnostic equipment. I solely coordinated the planning activities between all vendors, key Management personnel, Marketing and Engineering. I established a successful Vendor Managed Inventory System for high used small parts with a local company. As a new MRP system was implemented, I became a “power user”: of Made 2 Manage and later participated and assisted in the formulation of a schedule to build for future equipment. My inventory procurement was $2M to support consumables, machined and stock parts all sourced throughout the United States. MonoGen was closed in late 2008 as a result in the down turn in the economy.

2004 to 2007 – Inventory Planner/ Scheduler – ZF Sales & Service – Vernon Hills, Illinois

I generated a weekly shop schedule for passenger car transmissions by setting priorities according to need, urgency and special requests. Developed build schedules for transmissions for both OEM and After Market production. I was solely responsible for purchasing and forecasting all parts to support the after market and weekly shop production. Established and developed successful overseas business contacts and work relationships with the major supplier that resulted in better delivery and enabled shop production to improve considerably. Used Demand Solutions and Navision (MRP system) to initiate the purchasing process for all parts. Managed $3-4M of inventory, 90% sourced from Germany.

COMPUTER EXERIENCE:

Proficient with Windows applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, Demand Solutions, SAP, Made 2 Manage, SysPro and use of the Internet.
