Edmonton Police Service / Human Resource Assistant – Temporary Position

November 2018-February 2019

Provide support to the hiring mangers during the civilian recruitment process of the Edmonton Police Service in a unionized environment. Duties include:

oscreening candidates in PeopleSoft – moving them along the step process

oscheduling job interviews

obooking rooms for interviews

oscheduling and administering recruitment testing

ocontacting unsuccessful candidates

oproviding first day orientation

ocreating orientation packages.

Other clerical duties include:

oPulling recognition award tracking sheets from PeopleSoft

omaintaining filing system for candidates (both internal and contracted)
